About
Epicore
BioNetworks Inc.

Epicore BioNetworks Inc. is engaged in the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative, environmentally responsible biotechnology products based on the use of natural microbes and enzymes to solve a broad variety of industrial, commercial and consumer problems. The company's products and services have applications in aquaculture, agriculture and horticulture, cleaning and sanitation, food processing and nutrition, waste water, pollution control and environmental remediation.

Epicore's products use natural bacteria, microbial cultures, enzymes and other biochemical ingredients. They are biodegradable, non-caustic and non-toxic to humans, plants or animals. While we make individual strains of microorganisms, we sell mixtures of strains. Microbes work best in mixtures or consortiums, if you will. Such microbial ecosystems work synergistically to efficiently and effectively handle remediation tasks. Epicore makes a number of such ecosystem products.

Epicore Technology

Epicore's microbiology expertise was founded on the science and technology of the late Dr. Howard E. Worne. His contributions to World biological technology are legendary and his reputation is world renown. Epicore acquired his technology in the early 1990's and retained the "Doc" as Chief Scientist and board member up until his death. Dr. Worne was extensively published in the field of environmental microbiology.

Epicore BioNetworks is proud of its past association with Dr. Worne and is fortunate to hold exclusive rights to his environmental microbial technology. His work, today, is carried on by the Epicore New Jersey research and development team, which the Doc hand-picked and trained. The New Jersey R&D group diligently monitors the quality of Epicore products. They are skilled in laboratory application testing to simulate municipal end uses and use this capability to assist in customer problem solving and in new product development.

Epicore technical competencies include environmental microbiology and biochemistry, fermentation and formulation process knowhow, product development and field research.

Epicore Core Competencies

Microbiology: Epicore operates a microbiology research and development laboratory in New Jersey. The laboratory oversees the quality of Epicore biological products and actively seeks to extend Dr. Worne's many years of experience in this area.
Chemistry: Epicore chemistry capabilities complement its microbiological competence. Chemical skills enable Epicore to formulate the most effective and stable products possible.
Engineering: To enable its own manufacture and to support servicing the aquaculture industry, Epicore relies on extensive engineering skills.
Nutrition: The evolution of Epicore's biological interests stems from an overwhelming concern for human and animal nutritional requirements.
